Artist Radiohead: Cheat Code

Cheatcode is a conceptual vinyl project developed from an original colored pencil drawing, exploring themes of escapism, digital immersion, and solitude. Inspired by Radiohead, the artwork presents a fragmented interior where the figure is physically present but mentally absorbed in technology.

The hand-drawn texture establishes a raw, intimate tone that carries into the album design, preserving the immediacy of the original illustration. Cheatcode captures the tension between control and escape through a lo-fi, illustrative aesthetic.

01: Color Pencil Study Process

The color pencil study served as the conceptual foundation for the album artwork, exploring themes of digital escapism, solitude, and immersion through a hand-rendered illustration. Built through layered pencil textures and subtle color variation, the drawing established the composition, atmosphere, and visual storytelling while preserving the warmth and imperfections unique to traditional media. This stage focused on developing both the narrative and the emotional tone before transitioning into the final album presentation.
